Getting to the Wellington Eye Clinic

The Wellington Ophthalmic Laser Clinic is situated at Suite 36, 2nd Floor, Beacon Hall, Beacon Court, Sandyford, Dublin 18. The area is well served by public transport, including the LUAS Green line.

Directions:

By Car

Directions from the M50
• Take the Sandyford/Dundrum exit from the M50 - Exit 13 (See
map below)
• Take the third turn off the roundabout towards Sandyford
Industrial Estate.
• Turn left at these traffic lights and get into the right-handside
lane
• At the next traffic lights ("Beacon Hotel" on your right), turn
right onto Blackthorn Drive and then right again onto Blackthorn
Road
• About 20m down on the right handside is an entrance to an
underground carpark (Beacon Hotel/Court/Clinic/Hospital
carpark)

Coming from the N11 (Southbound towards Bray - from the
City centre)

• Follow the N11 southbound through Donnybrook and Stillorgan
• After passing the Stillorgan Park Hotel (on the left) and the
Stillorgan village junction, turn right at the next lights (St John of
God hospital on the left hand side) onto Brewery Road.
• At the end of Brewery Road, take the fourth exit off the
roundabout, heading into the Sandyford Industrial Estate.
• At the T -junction at the end of this road, (grey Avid building in
front of you) turn left onto Blackthorn Road.
• Just before the end of the road on the left handside is an
entrance to an underground car park (Beacon
Hotel/Court/Clinic/Hospital carpark)

Coming from the N11 (Northbound towards Dublin)

• Follow the N11 toward Dublin.
• After passing Foxrock Church (on the right), at the next traffic
lights turn left - onto Leopardstown Road.
• At the end of Leopardstown Road (Racecourse on your left)
take 3rd exit off the roundabout, heading into the Sandyford
Industrial Estate.
• At the T -junction at the end of this road, (grey Avid building in
front of you) turn left onto Blackthorn Road.
• Just before the end of the road on the left handside is an
entrance to an underground car park (Beacon
Hotel/Court/Clinic/Hospital carpark)

Coming from Dundrum Village via Kilmacud Road Upper

• At the Dundrum village crossroads, take the Upper Kilmacud
Road towards the Sandyford Estate
• At the fourth set of traffic lights, turn right onto the new road.
• At the next lights (Beacon Hotel across the junction, on your
left), turn left onto Blackthorn Drive.
• Take the next right onto Blackthorn Road (opposite the Alo
Kavanagh Mercedes Garage).
• About 20m down on the right handside is an entrance to an
underground carpark (Beacon Hotel/Court/Clinic/Hospital
carpark)

From the Car Park

• Park in the Beacon underground car park in the Visitor Parking
Area, Upper Level
• Take lift from entrance marked 'Beacon Hall' to the 2nd floor.
(You may need to ring the bell at lift entrance)
• Alternatively, take the stairs from 'Mall Entrance 2' and at the
top of the stairs follow the sign for Beacon Hall
• The next entrance on the right (ie. at Beacon Dermatology) will
bring you to the lift for Wellington Eye Clinic

By Luas

• Disembark at the "Kilmacud" LUAS stop.
• On exiting the station, turn left and continue up the road to the
traffic lights
• Cross the road and go through the archway immediately after
hotel's main entrance
• Go straight through the courtyard into 'Mall Entrance'
• Turn right inside the mall and proceed to next entrance on the
right (ie at Beacon Dermatology)
• From this lobby take the lift to the 2nd floor#

By Bus
The 46B from Parnell Square West brings you into Blackthorn Road
in the Sandyford Estate, a few minutes walk from the Beacon Clinic.
